Orange Baked Tofu

Fusion of flavors and exceptional marinade in a colorful and well presented dish. No doubt Nicolas cares about the details.

Use the Blitzer for all ingredients for the marinade,time saver. If time let Tofu marinate for some hours.

INGREDIENTS

  • 300 g firm tofu
  • 1 clove garlic
  • 1 tablespoon grated ginger
  • 3 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons rice vinegar or cider vinegar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons liquid honey or Agave Syrup
  • grated zest of 1 orange
  • 1 cup fresh orange juice

    1. Preheat the oven to 200 °C

    2. Tofu: Peel and grate garlic. Mix with ginger, soy sauce, vinegar, honey, orange zest and orange juice in a bowl. Stir until honey/Agave syrup is dissolved.

    3. Add in an ovenproof dish and pour over the sauce. Place in the oven for about 30 minutes, until lightly browned.

    4. Let it cool down a bit and serve
